7. About me: Adverse events

I read somewhere whilst searching for “blog tips” on the Internet that each post should be no longer than 250 words as people have a short attention span. Okay, there goes my therapy out the door. Feel free to send me your comments if you have any other constructive feedback such as tips on blogging, spelling, grammar or just wish to discuss aspects of what I am writing (I am all open for paradigm shifts).

February 5th (the day I exposed my brain to the world)

2006: Day two of throwing up after having eaten chocolate cake with WHIPPED CREAM some days earlier. I fell timely ill during the wedding reception of two friends. How do I know it was the whipped cream? Of course I can’t be 100% sure, but the same event was reported by four other whipped cream “fika” Mums. Here’s an intriguing thought that I have had since reading this particular diary entry: wouldn’t it be interesting if I found a similar group of people that I’d spent significant amount of time with, who instead of throwing up after eating curdled cream, ended up with cerebral tumours? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t wish my current condition on anyone and I would be very surprised if whipped cream could cause such a serious adverse event.

2002: It was supposedly a Sunday. I made a short visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London after having run a protein purification experiment in the previously mentioned lab. What can I say; I was a very keen student.
